AMI Junk Hauling hauls the things most companies decline: boats, RVs, sheds, hot tubs, decks and above ground pools — plus everyday household junk. One crew, one written quote, across 11,705 cities and towns.

Large items are a dismantling problem

Most haulers price by volume and stop at the curb. A boat is not a volume problem — it has to come off the trailer and the title has to be signed over. A hot tub has to be drained, cut down and carried out in pieces. A shed has to be taken apart before any of it fits in a truck. A deck is unbolted board by board. That dismantling work is what we actually do, and it is why the estimate asks for photos of the path out — the gate width, the stairs, the driveway — before a truck is sent.

Disposal is documented: material reaches a transfer station, scrap metal is separated for recycling, and batteries and fluids go to the right handlers. Nothing is “taken care of” in a way you would not want to see.

How We Started

Our work started on the ground in Florida. In the beginning, it was one dedicated team, a heavy-duty truck, and a simple commitment: show up on time, quote fairly in writing, and leave the property spotless. We specialized in items most junk companies avoided — structural teardowns, hot tubs, and un-towable RVs.

Nationwide Reach

After proving our model locally, we scaled our operations across the United States. Today, whether you need an old deck dismantled in Maine, a motorhome hauled in Texas, or a garage cleanout in California, our coordinated network provides seamless, nationwide service with local crew reliability.

How a job works

  1. Send photos. What has to go, and the path out to it. That is enough for an accurate number.
  2. Get it in writing. The estimate is free, written down, and nothing is scheduled until you say so.
  3. The crew does the heavy part. Dismantling, loading, sweeping up — you do not lift, and the truck leaves with the load.
  4. Documented drop-off. Transfer station, sorted recycling, paperwork handled — including titles on boats and RVs.

Why people call us

  • A garage or basement that filled up over a decade and has to be empty by the weekend.
  • An estate or a rental turnover where furniture has to be gone before the next tenant or the closing date.
  • Appliances that died in place — a chest freezer, a water heater, a range two people cannot carry up the stairs.
  • Construction leftovers after a remodel: drywall scrap, torn-out cabinets, tile, old subfloor.
  • A yard that collected things nobody sees anymore — bagged trash, a rotted swing set, tires, scrap metal.
  • A boat, RV or hot tub that has sat untouched for years and now needs to simply be gone.

Questions we hear

Do you take single items, or only full cleanouts?

Both. A single fridge or a garage that filled up over ten years is the same phone call. The written quote covers either, and photos of what has to go are enough to price it.

How does the quote work?

Send photos of the load and of the path out to it — the gate, the stairs, the driveway. You get a figure in writing before anything is scheduled, and nothing is scheduled until you say so.

Do you dismantle things?

That is most of the job. Boats come off their trailers, hot tubs are cut down, sheds are taken apart board by board, decks are unbolted. The crew brings the tools and does the lifting.

Where does the junk end up?

At documented transfer stations, not a roadside ditch. Scrap metal is separated for recycling, batteries and fluids go to the right handlers, and you get documented disposal.

Which areas do you cover?

Nationwide. Pick your state below for how the work runs there — every state page lists the cities and towns covered.
